I’m really looking forward to playing tomorrow in Aalborg\/Denmark in this spectacular concert hall! Together with my colleagues from the Hamburger Bl\u00e4serquintett I will play Tchaikovsky’s #rococovariations<\/a><\/span> in my own arrangement. Cellists, if you want to play the arrangement you can get the sheet music from Sikorski Musikverlag.<\/div><\/div>
A world premiere of a work by the British composer Edward Cowie is also on the program. He wrote a fascinating solo piece for me that refers to the prelude of the first solo suite for cello by Johann-Sebastian Bach. I play Bach first, then Cowie.<\/div><\/div>
And in the program there is much more wonderful music for cello and wind quintet and for wind quintet.<\/div><\/div>
