Last weekend I gave my course “Improvisation Of Cadenzas In Classical Solo Concerts” at the Bavarian Music Academy Hammelburg as part of the 2nd International Violin Academy.
I am grateful that I was able to work with 15 talented violinists from all over the world. We worked on musical creativity and stage presence and wonderful cadenzas have emerged. Many thanks to Christoph Schickedanz for inviting me and for building this inspiring academy, to Lihay Bendayan, Alfredo García-Serrano, Andreas Röhn, Annette Hohmann and Kuno Holzheimer and to the whole Hammelburg team, especially to Jenny Hembert and Edi Yurdakul.
