I asked composers to write contemporary pieces for cello piccolo. The cello piccolo has 5 gut strings, compared to the cello there is the additional high e-string, which sounds silvery fine. It is an instrument of the baroque period and I find it very exciting to play music of our time on it! I am always looking for new listening experiences!
